About

We are a residential interior design firm with a focus toward achieving seamless design. Projects in NYC, the Hamptons, Miami, California, Paris, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Brazil. We have produced concept design for residential developers and hospitality owners in the USA, China & Brazil.

Jasmine Lam’s project experience encompasses 24 years of work ranging from high-end residences to offices for entertainment industry clients, financial/private banking clients as well as global retail store planning. Andrew Martin UK’s 2020 design competition listed Jasmine Lam as a finalist and was featured in Volume 24 “Definitive Guide to the World’s Top 100 Designers” book. She worked at Natalie Zimmerman Design Production (Beverly Hills) in 1996, and then joined Gensler New York in 1997.  Four years later, she established her own office in New York City Manhattan, which is now in its nineteenth year. In 2008, Jasmine spent a year at the firm of S. Russell Groves, as Studio Director and Sr. Project Manager overseeing the design of the Baccarat Hotel & Condominium Project for Starwood Capital Group.

She has taught undergraduate interior design at Pratt Institute, and has participated as a critic with the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum “Design Directions” education seminars. For four years, she served on the steering committee of IIDA New York Commercial Forum. She has a BA from UCLA and a MS degree from Pratt, and studied contemporary architecture in France at Le Premiere Rue, CIPRA, Residence Le Corbusier.

Currently, she is a member of MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) Contemporary Arts Council and the A+D Circle (Architecture + Design Circle).  She has been a long-time supporter of Education, Children's Rights, and Sustainable Design & Environmental philanthropies. She also serves on the UCLA Alumni Association Scholarship Committee as a evaluator.

Most recently, the firm has been featured in Best in Design book as one of the the top 30 residential design firms in the world, edited by Cindy Allen of Interior Design Magazine, published December 2019. She also was featured in the Women in Design book released December 2020, published by Sandow Publishing and edited by Cindy Allen, as one of the top women designers in the world. Winner of Best Interior Design 2018 NY Cottage & Gardens Magazine’s “Innovation in Design” award. This work was featured in NYC&G Magazine November 2018 issue. In 2017, Jasmine Lam won the NY Cottages & Gardens Magazine "Innovation in Design" Best Interior Design 2017, 1st place and Best Small Spaces 2017, 2nd place awards amongst 800+ entries. Previously, Jasmine has been published in Architectural Digest India, Metropolitan Home Malaysia, Elle Decor Spain, World of Interiors, Contract Design magazine, and the Aveda prototype store was awarded Visual Merchandising + Store Design’s award of merit. She has also been featured in Pratt Institute's Gateway newsletter in the Eye on Alumni section. Earlier in her career, Jasmine served as a commentator for the The Financial Times and Wall Street Journal for various interior design articles, and an apartment she designed in a Richard Meier building in NYC has been featured in Gotham Magazine.
